About Us
Research at Grampians Health
With our patients, families and communities at the heart of everything we do, Grampians Health supports and conducts research that drives better health and wellbeing for people across western Victoria.
We are building a strong culture of research, education and innovation — one that connects curiosity with care. From projects that explore new ways of delivering healthcare in regional settings, to clinical trials that bring the latest treatments closer to home, research is an essential part of how we improve health outcomes for all.
Research is a key strategic priority for Grampians Health. Across our sites and services, research happens every day — in our hospitals, community health centres and aged care communities. It may take the form of a quality improvement project, a patient experience study, a data review, or a multi-site clinical trial. Our researchers include clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists and students, working together and in partnership with leading universities, health networks and research organisations.
At Grampians Health, research is not an add-on — it’s part of who we are. It shapes our care, strengthens our workforce, and helps create healthier, more connected communities across our region.
